Secret #1:
Make sure you stay away from researcher keywords in your market. This is the biggest mistake people make in their AdWords marketing. They go after keywords because they think people will buy when they are actually researcher keywords.
For example – any keyword that has the term “free” in it – never, ever bid on that keyword. Don’t think you’re the one who is going to convert that person into a buyer – it is not going to happen.
Focus on keywords that are clearly “buyer” keywords.
Secret #2:
Focus on profit and not volume of keywords. If you can only get a bit of traffic to your site but it is profitable, that is okay. Cause with that profit you can buy higher priced profitable keywords that will bring you in even more profit.
It is a cycle called “The Snowball”! You buy traffic and make a profit and then take some of that profit and buy more traffic and soon you are snowballing your traffic to the point you can’t actually buy any more traffic because you own that market.
